Walking around any city we would see different sociological models applied to city design and building based on some of the best city planner's theories. Why do I then still find trash in my city? Where is all the fun of the streets? Some people want gentrified areas, others just want a place to live. What can be done? Can technology help, is there a way out of making a city that can sustain itself, be great for the environment? RBI chair professor and I started out on a team to know how can this be done. Started contacting city officials, the government and before we know it, it was all getting developed right before our eyes :) The goals of SDG!! are one of the most importable ones to allow everyone to have am engaged civic life. There are smart technological solutions that can be implemented across the spectrum of ideas presented The bodies involved with the project along with the local municiapal corporation at lucknow. The work is to design a blueprint for the city so as to solve for goals outlisted in SDG 11. After doing exhaustive analysis and survey we came out with areas to work in and brainstormed concopets that can act as interventions specificallly based on IoT and technology since once we have done a preliminary testing on a pilot area, it can then be replicated and scaled as per need.
